Estoy haciendo pruebas de Wakfu, para Ankama.
Me EENCANTÓ la primera temporada, asi que soy una gran fan, y hacer míos los personajes ha sido DIVERTIDÍSIMO!

Hello my friends!
I'm making Wakfu tryouts, for Ankama.
I LOVED the first season of the serie so I'm a good fan, and making the characters my own style was lots of FUN!

Estos son Yugo y Amalia.
Yugo tiene unos 12 años y puede hacer portalesdimensionales con las manos. Es muy valiente, feliz, dulce e inocente.
Amalia es una princesa sadida de 13 años. Es orgullosa y tiene mucho caracter, pero quiere mucho a sus amigos. Puede hablar a las plantas y controlarlas.

This Are Yugo and Amalia.
Yugo is 12 and can make dimension portals with his hands. He is very brave, happy,  sweet and innocent.
Amalia is a 13 year old Sadida princess, she is proud and has loads of chracter, but she loves her friends very much. She can talk and control plants.

Estos son Evangelyne y Tristepin.
Evangelyne tiene 17 y es la guardaespaldas y mejor amiga de Amalia. Se toma muy en serio su trabajo, mientras soporta los contrantes flirteos por parte de Tristepin, pero en el fondo es una buenaza. Tiene un arco mágico que lanza varios tipos de flecha que ella invoca.

Tristepin Percedal tiene 16 años, y tiene un caracter bastante idiotica, y le encantan las chicas guapas, pero a pesar de todo, es un buen luchador. Es el guardián de Rubilax, un demonio atrapado en una espada, que tiene un caracter horrible. 





This are Evangelyne and Tristepin.
Evangelyne is 17, and Amalia's bodyguard and best friend. She takes her job very seriously, while she fights against Tristepin's constant flirtings, but in the end she is very sweet. She has a magic arch that attaks with different kind of arrows ahe summons each time.

Tristepin Percedal is 16, has a very silly character and loves pretty girls, but in spite of all that he is a very good fighter. He is the guardian of Rubilax, a demon trapped in his sword, that is very bad tempered.

Y finalmente tenemos a Az y a Ruel.
Az es el Tofu de Yugo. Le sigue a todas partes y a veces crece mensajes de las plumas de su cola.
Ruel es amigo del padre adoptivo de Yugo. Es un cazatesoros obsesionado con el oro, el dinero, o cualquier cosa que tenga algún valor. Lleva consigo una bolsa que contiene todo un mundo en su interior. Pero es un buen amigo y aliado cuando se le necesita.

And finally we have Az and Ruel.
Az is Yugo's Tofu. He follows wherever he goes, and sometimes grows messages in hes tail.
Ruel is Yogo's adoptive father's friend. He is a Treasure hunter completely obssessed with gold, money or anything with some value. He carries a bag with a whole world in it. But he is a good friend and allie when needed.

Algunos amigos me pidieron que hiciera un mini tutorial de cómo trabajo en Adobe Ilustrator.
Aquí os lo dejo! Espero que os sirva!

Some friends asked me to post a little tutorial of how I work in Adobe Ilustrator.
I leave it here! I hope it's useful!

paso uno.
boceto guarruno

herramienta: pincel

personajes agrupados por separado
y con un tono de azul distinto, para que no se peguen.

Step One.
Dirty sketch.

tool: brush
the characters are grouped separately, with a different blue, so they don stick to each other.
paso dos
herramienta: pincel.

detallo un poco con el pincel más fino y más oscuro que el anterior, en un grupo distinto.
asi los dos grupos de primeras lineas y segundas no se pegarán.

Step Two.

I detail a bit more with a smaller brush in a darker color, in a different group
so they (again) don't stick

Step Three.
More details

information pics are free, so have them near!!

cuántos más detalles dibujados, mejor.
asi nos quitamos de "experimentar" cuado demos el color, que es el siguiente paso.

Step four.
The more details you draw now, the better.
So i do less "experiments" when i do the color parts, that is next step.

con la pluma en modo contorno, perfilamos la silueta, desde las cosas que van a estar más atrás a las que están mas alante (poner musica de bricomania)

no pasa nada si os equivocais, porque con el objeto seleccionado podeis adelantarlo (ctrl 0) o alejarlo (ctrl9)

los detallicos y los rasgos ajustados ya se los pondre más tarde

recomiendo agrupar el cuerpo por partes, la cageza, el torso, los pantalones, para que no haya lios a la hora de colocarlo todo.
en ilustrator hay que ser un poco ordenado

al lado está la cabeza tal y como quedaría en relleno, sin contornos.

Step five.
With the quill in "outline mode" I shape the silhouette, firstly the ones on the back, and then the ones in the front.

It doesn´t matter if you don't do it in the correct order, you can always move objects to the front (ctrl+0) or to tha back (ctrl+9)
I leave for later the face feautures and the details.

I reccomend to group the different parts of the body sepparately, the gead, the torso, the trousers... so there is no chaos when you vant to put everything in order.
In Ilustrator you have to be a bit tidy.

just next to the head is the head in otlines.

los ojos más redondos, la expresión espabilada.

lo que mola del ilustrator es que puedes mover y remover hasta que algo está definitivamente en su sitio

y si no existe un deshacer accion (ctrl z) casi infinito.

I retouch the face borders looking for the alikeness.

the eyes have to be rounder, and an awake expression.
What us very cool abot ilustrator is that you cane move, and remove untill something is in its right place.
and if not, you have an "delete action" (ctl+z) almost to the infinite.

para las ropas, que son más blancas y se pegan al fondo, mejor poner un fondo oscuro detras.

sólo pongo lineas en las masas de color plano, más oscuras que el color sobre el que están. son masas tambien, no contornos, asi se le da un aire más "entintado" con distinto grosor de linea.

For the clothes, that are whiter and get confused with the background, it's better to put a dark color behind. ^____^

I just use lines in the plain color masses, always darker than them.
they are masses to, not outlines, so they look more "ink like", with different thickness.


más detallicos, sombricas, cosinas, y demás diminutivos flanderianos.

cuando se meten sombras, siempre puedes jugar con las opacidades, para no tener que ir por
piezas.

More details and little things, and shadows.

When you do the shadows you can play with the opacities, sou you dont hace to do it in each part.


los cuadraditos y circulos que se ven en el lateral son los colores originales oscuro y claro, y el degradado.

no me gusta abusar de los degradados pero siempre es recurrente para dar "un ligero tono" de claroscuro sin recurrir a los planos cortantes de color.

The little squares and circles you see in the sides are the original light and dark colors, and the gradient.

I don't like to abuse of the gradients but they're always recurrent to give "a little tone" of lightandshade without doing sharp color shadows.

el cuerpo de nymeria llevará un degradado, asi que para poder trabajar bién (el degradado no tiene opción de contorno) duplico el objeto (arrastrando mientras pulso ALT) y lo dejo ahi puestecico.
gracias a la opción GUIAS INTELIGENTES (ctrl U) después solo tendré que agarrar el objeto desde un ancla y colocarla exáctamente donde su homóloga, que se nos iluminara con un pequeño texto que pondra escrito ANCLA.

Nymeria's body will hace a gradient, so, in order to work ok, (the gradient hasn't got the outline option) I duplicate the object (pressing ALT while I drag it) and I leave it right there.

Later, Thank's to the option INTELIGENT GUIDES (ctrl U), i vill just have to grab the object from one of the anchors and make it coincide with it's equivalent, that will illuminate in blue with a little text that sais ANCHOR.

it's that easy.

la cola también lleva un degradado, coincidiendo con el cuerpo, para que separen mejor los planos.

la punta de la cola es el color del morro pero con una leve transparencia, para que pille del degradado.

la herramienta de degradad del CS5 es una maravilla, tienes una barra que se puede rotar, alargar, dar vueltas, y si te descuidas te hace la cena.

the tail has a gradient too, coinciding with the color of the body, so the levels separate.

The point of the tail is the same color as the snout's but with a bit of transparency, so it gets a bit of the gradient below it.

The gradient toll of the Cs5 is great, you have a bar you can move, rotate, make larger or smaler, and if you dont look at her, she even makes you dinner.

Se acerca el invierno.
Lord Eddard de la casa Stark de Invernalia.
He empezado a ver la serie de Juego de Tronos, y me está poniendo tan nerviosa que voy a comprarme el libro original en el que esta basada, de George R. R. Martin.
Mi amigo Guillermo Ariete me ha retado a hacer un personaje semanal, asi que espero cumplir, un Lannister siempre paga sus deudas.

El blog Kame House está librando una batalla de dibujos relacionados con la serie, si os gusta podeis echarle un ojo aqui.

I've started watching the tv serie Game of Thrones, and I'm growing so nervous I'm going to buy George R. R. Martin's book in which it`s based.
My friend Guillermo Ariete has challenged me to draw a character a week, so I hope to fulfill the Bet, a Lannister always pays his debts.

The blog Kame House is having a drawing battle, ad the main theme is the serie, if you like it you can take a peek here.

Este dibujo comenzó como un dibujo de apoyo a los acampados de Europa, con el oso, el símbolo de Madrid, llevando a la libertas con una bandera blanca. pero ha terminado siendo una ilustración épico-invernal con algunos sospechosos toques a lo "juego de tronos" Podeis ver dibujos y viñetas en apoyo a la Spanish revolution aquí.

Que tengais un buen día!! This one started being some sort of support drawing for the Europe camping revolution, with the bear, Madrid´s symbol carrying Liberty with a white flag.

But it´s ended being some kind of epic-winterfall ilustration with some "game of thrones" suspicious touches.

hola amigos!
Os dejo un cartel que he hecho para unos amigos que tocan un concierto en Granada, el siete de mayo, GRATIS, a partir de las 6:30, en el centro social okupado Guatimozin, en la calle Guatimocin 3.
Si os gusta el rock más clásico teneis a Downfall´s Doctors, un rock más moderno y sucio con The Blackjaw, un hardcore punk recalcitrante con John doe y Madame X, y a Miedo y Asco el la Tierra no se muy bién como catalogarles, pero habra diversión garantizada y son todos buenos músicos y mejores personas.
Yo estaré ahi!!

If you like a more classic rock, check out Downfall´s Doctors, if you prefer a more modern and dirty rock sound , take a look to, The Blackjaw, if you like above all hardcore punk you have John Doe and Madmiselle X; and I realy don´t know how to classify "Miedo y Asco en la Tierra" (shit and loath on earth); but there will be guaranteed fun and all of them are good musicians and better persons.

Además es un dibujante-diseñador genial y es idiota, cualidades que siempre son muy agradables en las personas.
El sabueso es un chiste local, una chorrada a altas horas de la noche, y no tendria sentido explicarlo.

El Ayurveda es un antiguo sistema médico hindú que significa la ciencia de la vida.
Se basa en el equilibro del cuerpo con la naturaleza, los tratamientos son siempre naturales y, por experiencia propia, puedo decir que es una maravilla.
Según el ayurveda existen 7 tipos de metabolismos, que son la combinación de tres, llamados doshas.
las tres doshas son vata, pitta y kapha.

Vata es el principio gobernante del movimiento. Vata, como el viento, está siempre en movimiento y tiende a ser rápido, frío, seco, violento y suave. Una persona Vata suele ser delgada, realiza sus actividades deprisa, su sueño es ligero, con tendencia al insomnio. Es entusiasta, vivaz e imaginativo. Tiene tendencia a estar estreñido, se cansa con facilidad pues suele esforzarse mas de la cuenta. Su piel es seca y fría al tacto, las manos y los pies se le enfrían con facilidad, les encanta el sol y el buen tiempo y no soportan bien el frío.
Su elemento es el aire.

Pitta gobierna la digestión y el metabolismo, Pitta es caliente, agudo y ácido. Las personas Pitta son de complexión mediana, piel clara a menudo pecosa, de pelo rubio, castaño claro o rojo. Tienen mucha hambre y sed, aversión al sol y al calor. Son de carácter emprendedor y les gustan los desafíos, de intelecto agudo, discurso preciso. Caminan con paso decisivo, no soportan las pérdidas de tiempo. Les gusta gastar dinero en cosas lujosas, tienen cierta tendencia a ser vehementes.
Su elemento es el fuego.

Kapha es responsable de la estructura del cuerpo. Kapha es pesado, estable, frío, aceitoso, lento y suave. Las personas Kapha son de contextura sólida y potente, gran fuerza y resistencia física, con tendencia a engordar. Su piel es fresca, suave y pálida. Su personalidad es tranquila y relajada, son personas estables, algo lentas, son personas afectuosas, con tendencia a ser posesivas y complacientes. Su sueño suele ser pesado y prolongado.
Su elemento es el agua.

The Ayurveda is an ancient hindi medical system that means "the science of life"
It´s bases in the balance between body and nature, the treatments are always natural, and, by self experience, i can say it´s wonderful.
According to the Ayurveda, there are 7 types of metabolisms, that are the combination of 3, named doshas.
The 3 doshas are vata, pitta, and kapha.

Vata is the movement principle. Vata, like the wind, is always moving, and tends to be quick, cold, dry, violent and smooth. A vata person usualy is thin, makes it´s activities quickly, has a light sleep, with a tendency to insomnia. It´s enthusiastic, lively and imaginative.
Has a tendency to constipation, and gets tired easily because they usualy use more effort than they should.
they´re skin is dry and cold to the touch, hands and feet get cold easily, they love the sun and good weather and they cannot stand the cold.
They´re element is wind.

Pitta governs the digestion and the metabolism, pitta is hot, sharp and acid.
Pitta people have a medium constitution, light skin, sometimes freakled; blonde, light brow or red haired. They have lots of hunger and thirst, and adversion for sun and heat. They have an enterprising character and love challenges, they have a sharp intelect, a precise speech.
They walk with determined step, and can´t stand wasting time. They like spending money in luxurius things, and have a tendency to be vehement.
They´re element is fire.

Kapha is responsible for the body structure. Kapha is heavy, steady, cold, oily, slow and smooth.
kapha people have a solid and powerful constitution, strength and physical resistance, with a tendency to gain weight.
They´re skin is fresh, soft and pale. They´re personality is peaceful and relaxed, they are stable people, a little slow, they are affectionate people,with a tendency to be possesive and indulgent.
They´re sleep is usualy heavy and lengthy.
They´re element is water.

me alegro de cumplir 25!
me queda mucha vida que dibujar, mucho mundo por ver, muchos crispis con leche que comer y muchas tardes paseando a mi perra y sobando a mi coneja.
al final solo soy una niña grande y tontaca con un lapiz o una wacom!

I'm getting older.
And as get older, I turn myself a little more hulka-like.
It must be the old lady syndrome, that makes you complain less and get more angry with the world.
yet...
I have a lot of life to draw still, a lot of world to see, a lot of cornflakes to eat, and a lot of evenings taking my dog for a walk and petting my pet rabbit.
in the end I'm just a very big little silly girl with a pencil or a wacom!

ayurveda

Os dejo con unas pruebas que hice para un libro sobre medicina ayurveda que hice para una amiga.
Al final no se editarán, pero quedé bastante contenta con estas poses de yoga.

I leave you with a pair of ilustrations I made for an Ayurveda medicine book from a frind of mine. In the end, they are not going to be published but I´m quite happy with these two yoga poses.
